Got any song lyrics I could use?

Here's a strange one. A buddy and I have been recording original music in our home studios in weekly sessions for over 20 years. We started with 2-track decks, then 4-track, and now we're working with 8-track digital (Yamaha MD8). We write most of our own stuff. Nothing earth-shaking, sort of post-Beatles pop/rock.

What I was wondering was, does anyone have any lyrics lying around that they wrote but never used? A couple of verses, a chorus, and a bridge would be perfect. I would love trying to set lyrics by someone besides my usual partner to music.

Anyone seen "Off the Charts"? There's a whole industry of people recording songs based on "amateur" lyrics people sent in. Anyway, if you've got something, how about posting it?

I'm just a lonely old guitar player that writes a bit, some full songs, some bridges. Never been good enough to crack the nut, but the words work for me.
