just watched Siegfried on Larry King....

He and Roy have been together 44 years. It must be a horrible time for both of them.

3. hard to say....

I read an in-depth profile of them a couple years ago, and they were clearly lovers for a long period of time. The article implied that they are no longer "life-partners" or whatever term you prefer, but they still live in the same compound.

From watching Siegfried tonight, though, I would've guessed they were still together. If they're not lovers anymore, they've managed to maintain a helluva friendship.

6. He wants to be with Roy!

I was watching the West Wing, but forgot it was even on, watching Siegfried.

I've seen a lot of jokes made about the two of them, but I'd never seen either of them sitting down talking before. Siegfried seemed quite kind in the way he talked about people and loving the fans, etc.

He said that he wanted to be with Roy several times, and that really grabbed me. If they're not together any longer, I think it's pretty clear that Siegfried is not the cause of that. Very touching--thank goodness Roy is still alive.
