Images in sig? (HTML GEEKS CHECK IN!)
Edited on Sun Feb-20-05 10:15 PM by stpalm
How do I format them? What if I want my image to be above the font, with the font bigger? I am an HTML dummie.

I want "Grab your boner and get your skank on" to be underneath the "SKABOOM" picture and a little bigger so its readable.

5. if you want your image placed above text, insert [br] (br=break)
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 02:18 PM by bloodyjack
for embiggening text, I think [font color=purple
size=#]TEXT[/font] should work

so it should be [skaboom.jpeg][br][desired text
formatting]Grab your boner and get your skank on[/desire]

ah, just read the OP. here

http://img224.exs.cx/img224/4185/ska1sn.jpg[br]Grab your boner
and get your skank on

I dont think imageshack is DU-kosher though, for whatever
reason

edit #30: try imgme.com, it's just like imageshack but not
blocked

6. If you want to put images in your sig, you just put the url of the image..
in your signature place in the Options.

7. The argument for src should be the URL of the picture.
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 02:06 PM by IMModerate
But you usually don't need that here to display a picture. Just type its URL.

8. the site where you are hosting the image is blocked
that's why you get the "image" text.

You don't need the img tag - just the location of the file.

11. Thank you! I ditzed around with this for a while before giving
up, and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it to work.

9. I believe you may have to host your image elsewhere
like photobucket to get the image to display as a picture and not as . also, I don't think html tags are needed at DU to display a photo and if they are, use ] for > and [ for <
