Mud slides and flooding-O'Rama!!! :o

The gutters on my building need fixing, water is streaming down my windows, I'm going to bitch to the landlord. He'll never fix it, he's a dick. Water water everywhere, it's been pouring three days straight. Bet the LA river is filling up!

2. Origin of "Raining Cats and Dogs" .....hey, I don't have a life.

In places such as England, they have thatched roofs. The cats and dogs would sleep on the roofs,BUT if it started raining,they would jump to the ground.

8. With all the rain lately

my yard is starting to get standing puddles. I was happy that it was sunny for a little bit today, and I was thinking that my grass was gonna dry out soon. But nooo.

Seriously though, stay dry, stay warm, stay safe.

This is a seriously huge amount of rain for So. Cal. Last time I remember storms like this was in '97 with the big el Nino storms, and even that wasn't as bad as this is I don't think. I know I had a hell of a time driving to work that year because of flooded streets, now all I have to deal with is blizzards :).
