Just fuck.
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 01:22 PM by Bouncy Ball
Fuckity-fuck-fuck. Worst Morning Ever.

Found out my father in law has even less time to live than we thought. Trying to get tickets out to see him fast.

Spent $ 456 for a stupid mistake that was my fault. (I don't want to go into it. It involved nine phone calls and me actually letting loose with a primal scream during one phone call, which I NEVER do.)

Hair dryer isn't working so I have the scariest white girl afro EVER.

Just ate the crappiest lunch of my life.

Have to have my research topic by Wednesday night. Oh ho HO, it is to laugh!

Dicked around all weekend and have the two hardest chapters in the text to read still.

And half of today is blown.

(But hey, I get to go to a boring-ass, two hour long meeting at 2!!!! So hope is on the horizon!!!)

Days like this are when I could just say Yes. Cheer me up--tell me bush fell and busted his ass again. (By "ass," of course I mean "face.")

3. Thanks sundog.
If it's any worse than today, there's no point in getting out of bed.

I was tempted, around 9:45 am to just say "fuck it, do over" and get back in bed.

Sounds like fun. Come on up here and help us bust Fred Phelps ass, we could use you! It is almost as fun as busting Bush's ass. Hang in there. Your hair sounds lovely btw. :hi: I had a day like that just a few days ago, here's to hope, it does get better every time.

Right now my negative energy could be used for the good, if someone would just let me near Fred Phelps.

Thanks, doll.

I'm looking at a cute rabbit!

8. Hate to say it
but today is a paid holiday for me
and it is my sister's birthday and she is coming to see me in a few minutes.
:bounce:
Does it help a rotten day to know that someone else is having a good one?
That hair thing kinda reminds me of the Shania Twain song: "Honey, I'm home" but you need to play your own favorite music, because if I sing to you the day will only get worse.

12. Actually it does.
I had a friend once who was SO close to her parents and had this great family, but she'd always refuse to tell me any cool stories of stuff they did, because I basically have no family and when I did they were really abusive, etc.

Finally I told her I LOVE it when people have happy families and are close to them, etc. I'm GLAD for people like that!!!

So then she started telling me about all the cool stuff they do together and we were both happy.

So yeah, it does help to hear someone else is having a great day. Kinda balances out the universe, know what I mean?

Plus, I have too many good days. I'm cosmically owed some bad days, I think.

14. No fucking way.
I am not kidding, I am horrified at the idea of this meeting at two, because it's with my boss, my boss' boss and HER BOSS!!!

I have short, VERY thick, coarse, naturally curly and frizzy hair.

With a blowdryer, a flat iron, and the appropriate products, it is straight, soft, sleek, smooth. Looks great, I have to say.

Without the blowdryer? Imagine a dark brown Q-tip. No, it's not that controlled.

Don King's hair looks BETTER than mine right now. I am NOT joking. The woman in the drivethru line where I got my lunch actually did a double-take.

It will look fabulous tomorrow, trust me.
When your hair frizzes up, it just throws off the entire day.

20. I'm sorry you're having a bad day.
Hey here's some good news. If you go to pollingreport.com you'll see that Bush has some pretty lousy approval ratings. AP has him at 54% disapproval. Harris has him at 51% disapproval. Zobgy has him at 50% disapproval, 49% approval. Gallup has him up only by one. The only polls that show him with a real lead are NBC and Fox News, with NBC with *50 approve and 45% disapprove. Fox has him at 51% approve and 43% disapprove. Right.

24. pretty much HAS to get better from today, eh?
when i saw the title i must've been in a '60's frame of mind cuz i started humming "love the one you're with"

Mayhaps you can grab your sweetie and give it a try?
"boinking" pretty much ALWAYS improves a day!

Love the One You’re With
by Stephen Stills

If you’re down and confused, and you don’t remember who you’re talkin’ to. Concentration slip away, ‘cause your baby is so far away.

Well there’s a rose in the fisted glove and the eagle flies with the dove, and if you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with.

Don’t be angry, don’t be sad, and don’t sit cryin’ over good times you’ve had. There’s a girl right next to you, and she’s just waitin’ for something to do.

Turn your heartache right into joy, she’s a girl, and you’re a boy. Well get it together, make it real nice,
You ain’t gonna need anymore advice.

And there’s a rose in the fisted glove and the eagle flies with the dove, and if you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with, love the one you’re with.

39. So, what's your topic?
Actually, I am only kidding. Asking a student what their topic is , in my humble opinion, is something people should avoid. Take, for example, this exchange:

"Hey, what's your research topic?"

"FUCK YOU!"

See? It's no good.:D

40. Sigh, well
I'm throwing around "the effect of thematic unit staff development on the confidence level of first-year teachers" but I dunno.

It definitely has a long enough title to qualify.

Can't find dick on it in the current journals, though.
