3. I don't really understand how not delivering the mail
honors our presidents, but I don't work for the post office.

I once worked as a temp for a company that sold bonds and they were closed on Presdents Day because the stock market isn't open. I showed up at work and couldn't figure it out, having never worked at an instiution that revolved around the market. Still seems kinds strange to me.

2. Well, President's Day is a big shopping day
I don't see any reason we can't get a new one. The one we have now is old and defective. Perfectly good reasons to replace one......kinda like a toaster.

Ford, Carter, Bush1, or Clinton. Take any of them in a heartbeat over this turkey. I'd even let Clinton have interns.
