It is a lovely park, not quite Stanley Park, but nice.

5. I think the Gates is like his wrap projects

It seems intended to frustrate one's view of the park.

Stanley is awesome, is that Vancouver?

6. Yes it is

The city founders had the forethought to save a huge swath of old growth forest right downtown. There are parts of that park that are so dense you'd never know you were in the middle of a city.

We're actually lucky, Vancouver is awash in parks.

2. "The Gates"...

they just...they just don't do it for me.

And it's sad, because I like his other work.

But I just came back from the park and the orange is really cool looking against the snow. :hi:
