Please don't bring repukes to restaurants, Part 1
They always order off the menu and then throw a hissy fit when they get told they can't have the maple chutney glazed osso buco. Then, after they bore yor ass off with an hour of inane chitchat about how Bush** is gonna save Social Security, they order dessert and ask if the chef can "make the pie higher". And they are THE worst tippers on Earth.

Independents? Certainly? Libertarians? Of course. But please, I beg you, don't bring repukes to restaurants.

6. How about NON-Tippers?
I know repugs that refuse to pay a waitperson extra for "just doing the job they were hired to do".

9. Yes they figure in everyone's tip (other tables too)
and then divide it into an hourly rate. Seriously I hear this all the time from Republicans I know.

"Well you figure he had 5 tables and if each one tips him $10 that is $50 an hour which is really good"
"Are you going to throw in on the tip or not?"
"The guy is making $50 an hour (looks to fellow Repub) HELL I'd like to make $50 an hour!!" Yuk yuk yuk
"Then why don't you quit your job and work here"
(silence)
"Now throw in some damned money you cheap SOB"

10. I'll add-the parsing of the bill ALWAYS the parsing of the bill
a couple we know (old friend of my wife's) and they do this every freakin' time. I always tell the waitress to split the checks every once in a while they tell her not too  and then when the check comes they try to determine exactly what everyone had (I learned after two nights out with them so I started getting the bill split).

I had never seen anything like it. Everyone I had ever know went out-say there were 4 couples and the bill was $120 everyone throws in $30 and then tips.

Not with these people.

8. I hate it when people criticize others choice in friends.
They are people and they have to eat - they should be able to order whatever they want - whether its on the menu or not. Just because you don't like what they have to say, doesn't make it OK to not go out with them.

If you're at the next table, maybe you could just get drunk and puke all over the place. They might leave.
