Beer being, you know, vegan and all.

She would eat like crap. Brown rice, a can of veggie refried beans, and a beer. Then she would go into her room, turn off all the lights and turn up the soundtrack to The Crow so loud we had to leave the house. A real charmer, that one.

Years ago when I was in a punk band, we lacked the funds for accomodations when on roadtrips, so we stayed with generous concert attendees who let us crash on their floors. Every time we played in a college town - I'm serious, every time - the person who'd put us up would end up being a fat vegan girl. I couldn't figure it the hell out! Maybe too much pasta?

31. Well, it's just that it's not clear. When somebody says

"I'm a vegetarian," pretty much everyone knows what they're talking about. People who don't have a very strong cultural radar might hear the word Veegan" and not know if it's a food preference, a religious preference, a sexual preference, or what.

Although there would be context to take into consideration.

I'm not arguing, just trying to find something out.
