YES, I've been watching... and I liked the handling.

I am curious what DUers think of the subject's presence, handling, theme, timing... blah blah blah...

3. Boys kissing...nice for a change.
It's always ok to show (pretty) women kissing, but TV's still kinda shy about boys kissing.

8. I loved it!
Edited on Tue Feb-22-05 09:47 PM by DinoBoy
I had heard it was supposed to be timed with Marcia Cross (Brie, the red-haired mom) coming out in the Advocate. She had really pushed the producers to add in the gay theme, and it ended up being her character's son.

ON EDIT: I love hot boys kissing, and I approve of the two hot boys, LOL.

9. I thought they handled it well
Remember the fake gay kiss on Melrose Place years ago? Where they used CGI or something to make it look like the guys were kissing? Now that was lame. x(

10. I don't watch DH
Besides, I see enough guy-on-guy kissing in Six Feet Under.

13. No Descent??
Edited on Tue Feb-22-05 10:04 PM by intrepid_wanderer
Huh. I would have thought that at least a few (homophobe or homophoberifically inclined) would have disapproved.

I didn't really think that either of them was particularly 'hot,' but it did seem realistic indeed:

- they hid (as mentioned)

- they weren't perfectly sculpted & on full display

- one of them denied it (as seems common)

- the 'finder-outer' was just as uncomfortable & uncertain what to do as anyone else!

BZ ((How many posts will this get anyway?? I'm liking DU discussion!)) :bounce:

DOPE!!! EDIT>> SP -2 (again) thanks LibVet

12. And, there was no warning, a la Simpsons
Or, if there was one, I missed it. I thought it was done very well. My only complaint is I could do with a little less of the inane voice over by the dead woman, although that's getting better.

14. I dont care for DH, but my best friend likes it, so I have it on TiVo
My best friend likes it, so I record it for him. I guess now I'm going to have to watch it!

DH is Broadcast, not Premium Cable, which means a larger audience.

I remember the Melrose Place kiss was all over the news as being very risque. Now, DH does the real thing and I didn't even know it happened.

In fact, I erased my TiVo of the Simpsons episode last Sunday because I didn't know they were going to do the gay marriage episode until it was too late!

Thanks for the heads up!

Keo

16. I missed it. Now that Carnivale is back on I had to make the big choice of
which show to watch. Carnivale won, but I will be looking for DH reruns.
