When I linked to that, there was a picture of Genesis on there!!! Even when I did "Preview" it showed a picture of Genesis!!!!! Ahhhh...some bikini laden broad has taken over my Genesis link!!!

I can't edit it anymore....the time has past. We'll all just have to agree that that lady is al in all better to look at than Genesis.

That last is a Canadian folk/country band that if you haven't heard, you really should. Their first CD "Shakespeare My Butt" kicks a lot of ass. 17 songs, every one of them a gem.

71. yes that was me!
First ever concert was Jethro Tull with my long haired pot-addled BF and his friends. I can still see the smoky haze in the arena. Tull was about an inch high from where we were sitting.

And Yes, yes I had many, many Yes albums and knew all the words by heart. It was a different time. And then punk blew it all out of my brain a year or two later. ;)

76. In real big arenas, the had "Tull-A-Vision"
I kid you not, big monitors so people in the nose bleed section could sort of see what was happening on stage.

Punk was a real breath of fresh air.

80. I don't think there was a monitor when I saw him
It was the 70s after all.

I can still remember my friend and I screaming "what is this?!" when we first heard Johnny Rotten on the radio, circa 1978. I keep telling the youngsters round here and in my real life that punk was a lot more complex ( and disco-like, at least if you listen to the drumming - I'm a drummer by the way) than they realize. Punk wasn't just mohawks, after all. ;)
