I had what I thought was an eyelash in my eye. Very irritating. I couldn't see it, and I couldn't get it out.
After much blinking and tears I got a hold of the offending hair and began to pull. And pull. And pull.
The hair was 5 3/4 inches long (I measured it) and I think it was wound around my eyeball.
It's a very odd feeling to pull something that long out of your eye.

2. Does anything good ever happen to you? |

I wish there were something I could do to help.
Instead, I feel helpless for you.

8. Lots of good things happen to me |
|
I don't actually consider this incident to be a bad thing. It's over. My eye is fine. But c'mon you have to admit that was a long hair to get in an eye.

10. I freely admit that was a long hair to get in an eye |
|
Sometimes, I would just love to hear about something good that happened to you because you seem to be a good person.
Sincerely,
Floog

I saw a tree in bloom. Didn't exactly happen to me, but around me - does that count?

16. oh man. glad your eye's OK |
|
I've pulled short hairs out - cat hair, usually - and tend to not be too squeamish about my eyes bc I wear contacts, but damn. I hope it was your hair!

19. If you use cotton balls |
|
to remove eye makeup, it could have been a long fiber from the cotton ball. Not as interesting as other comments here, but something to remember when removing your makeup.

It's a much worse feeling sticking something that long into your eye. Like, for example, an ice pick.
Be thankful for small blessings.
Khash.
