5. For real..

a number of tony NYC restaurants started an ice cream fad a few years ago. One of them came up with jalapeno vanilla.

That's the one I remember, but I think there were worse.

Worst I ever actually tasted was Baskin-Robbins' Pumpkin.

I remember there was a Wendy's commercial a few years back mocking modern American cuisine, and the commercial involved "lobster cappuccino". However, recently, I restaurant I used to go to in upstate New York was bought out by new owners, and the cuisine went from classic American (meat 'n potatoes) to modern American, and I kid you not, they had lobster cappuccino on the menu.
