Spinach and Artichoke dip
My favorite appetizer of all time. I could swear its an aphrodisiac as well. Does anyone else share my obsession?

1. My favorite bagel place
has a spinach and artichoke cream cheese that's to die for. It's even low-fat, and I don't normally do low-fat. It's the morning edition of spinach and artichoke dip--breakfast of champions, to be sure!

3. I'd never even heard of it until now.
But this discussion got my mouth watering. Here's a recipe I just Googled: http://robbiehaf.com/Recipes/H/77.htm

It looks to be YUMMY!!, as well as 'doable' in my modest little kitchen. But it also looks to be a little beyond my patience. I'll look around Seattle for a store that carries it. Any suggestions?

I never cook. Many restaurants do have it on the menu though.

7. If I can't find it in a store somewhere,
then DAMMIT, I'll follow that recipe and MAKE it myself! Looking back at that webpage, I glanced through some of the other recipes. They too looked a little more elaborate than what is generally performed in my (single occupancy) kitchen. But they too looked YUMMY!! I may even order the cook book: http://recipes.robbiehaf.com/cookbook/contents.htm

9. I know someone who got it in a store
but I don't know where. Try Whole Foods.

5. try black olives stuffed with cream cheese
they're really good--and a bit time consuming (especially if you stuff the little ones and make them look "neat")

8. ANY olive and cream cheese combo is yummy!
My mom made me green olive and pimento sandwiches as a kid, and for a very brief time Bruegger's put black olives on bagels and cream cheese. Happy taste-memories!

10. alouette brand is my fave.
I can eat it all in one sitting! I don't, but I know I could! I eat it with chips or carrots & celery. I like it hot too, but cold is the best in my house.
