.. though I have yet to try paintball. I'll never get into hardball, I'm not a guy for blue marks all over his body.
Though the greatest rush I've had was when I participated in a minor laser tag war. Two teams, 50 on each, each team had a base and 2 laser MG's that could not be taken out of the base. The game was set to last 3 hours in a fairly large wood (something like 80*150 metres). A good share of people were left in the base, and a couple of large rushes were tried, and after 2 hours or so, things were starting to thin out, with both teams having tried almost everything.
Anyway, one of the older guys on my team rounded up 15 or so people and told them his plan. The 10 of them should continously attack towards the base while the rest of snuck our way around the fences that marked the perimeter of the playing field. At a certain time, they should gather as many as they could and attack straight forward into the enemy base.
We made our way around to the enemy base, and at the time that we had agreed on, we could hear the others attack, and while the enemy defenders were busy shooting the attackers down, we snuck up behind their base and proceeded to take out all of the defending players. And since they had to go to the center of the playing field to be resurrected, we had plenty of time to take their flag and make our way to base camp.
But really, the rush of popping up behind those defenders and just shoot them one by one was the best thing I've ever tried.
