I made some very disparaging comments here about one of my professors last night. She found out and I caught hell for it. Now I feel like a total dickhead for what I said last night, and rightly so, rightly so. I'm sorry for what I said, and greatly regret making the comments that I did.

I learned an important lesson from this incident. Don't post on the internet while in a blind anger, you will come to regret it in the future.

Not only did she see what a dickhead you were, but for months, possibly years, anybody and everybody will see it. Give the spiders at google a little time and they'll have it archived there. Since DejaNews got bought out it's not quite so bad. But I've had things I said ten years ago come back to haunt me.

Don't feel too bad about it. Apologize to her and move on. We are all dickheads and make stupid and hurtful comments. That's life and that's how we grow, by learning from our mistakes. But it sounds like you are sorry for what you said, so I guess it was unfair of you to say it. I don't know what it was and I really don't care. You've learned a valuable lesson but we all learn it. So don't feel too bad. You didn't screw up worse than any other human being.

there is more to learning in university time than just academics. and i hope she has a good sense of humor and sees it for all it was. isnt it just amazing how universe works. i dont even miss with being snotty to someone, sure it will come back to nip me on the ass, so i dont bother. has led to a peaceful life
