Living with substitute moms...or something
SO, I was away for last night, I didn't leave a note as I was only gonna be gone for a night.
Then I get a call from the roomie at work asking why I didn't leave a note, and she thought I was dead and yada yada yada.

I mean REALLY.

Seriously, unless I'm getting affections I don't think I'm under obligations of that nature... agreed?

1. My own two cents
is that she has no place to give you any yada yada yada, but if you could have left a note quickly, that would have been nice. But only nice, not obligatory. Maybe she would have changed her plans last night if she knew you were going to be out all night?

4. Sorry, I think you're wrong
If you have roommates, it is only considerate to let them know when you're going to be away, especially if it is unusual.

You don't need to be specific, just say that you're going to be away.

If it's a regular thing, then they will assume you're away and not dead, so it becomes less of a problem.
