Is it correct to shred cheddar cheese over Bar-B-Q chicken?

Somehow I feel as if I might be breaking a rule because, usually, cheese does not accompany Bar-B-Q meat.

Should I feel guilty or is it OK?

1. Is BBQ Sauce A Factor?

If the cheese has any co-mingling with any kind of BBQ sauce, you have gravely sinned; however if it's simply grilled over the BBQ, a little melted cheese can be lovely.

In my opinion, cheese makes the world go round.

But hell, every once in a blue moon, I cave to the urge for Spaghettios w/ meatballs, eaten w/ potato chips.

It's very good. I don't see anything wrong with using a different cheese if you prefer one.

unbelievably delicious "barbecue cheeseburger"! :D
