2. Hate him. Reason? Homophobic lyrics |
|
Need a sample?
"My words are like a dagger with a jagged edge That'll stab you in the head whether you're a fag or les Or the homosex, hermaph or a trans-a-ves Pants or dress Hate fags? The answer's yes."
'nuff said. I will never EVER buy anything that man ever sells.

8. See, that's pretty funny. |
|
Because the following stanza says that it's a joke, and that he's only saying it to see if you would take it out of context and get upset by it.
You got played.

9. I remember him doing a performance at the Grammy's with... |
|
Elton John, and afterwords giving him a hug. I don't think he is homophobic at all. I think he sells records.

With Elton John..the song was about him killing himself and pregnant girlfriend while drunk.

4. I never cared for him from the get-go |
|
I do realize he's a talented guy, and he did gain a little more respect from me after he released "Mosh".

I really enjoy his music. People THINK they know what he's about just by hearing a few clips of his songs, but his stuff is much more multi-layered and complex.
He's a character playing a character playing a character. Some of his stuff is laugh-out-loud funny, and some of it's very powerful.
