1. I like his stuff quite a bit....
But it's weird in that I think his stuff suits certain music more than others. I like his stuff for heavier bands like Converge and Agoraphobic Nosebleed because I think it suits that style.

Someone like Kozik does a better job of adapting his style to the style of music being promoted.

2. Absolutely. That's wht makes Kozik the greatest posterman of this era
Hess, like say Mark Ryden or Coop work in their styles and that's why you hire them. That being said tell me that this isn't one of the best posters ever:

3. It is awesome.......
Hess is the one poster artist whose work I'm lacking. I have several Koziks, Coops, Ryden's, and Shags but no Hess. I need to remedy that and right quickly.

4. Not Ryden originals are they?
If you had even one Ryden original you would officially become my favorite DUer

5. None of them are "originals"...
All are lithographs or seriagraphs (sp?), etc.

But they still pretty the place up quite nicely.

6. Gotcha. A friend of mine is a big collector of Shepherd Ferrey prints
and they do pretty up a room. I haven't been able to amass much of a collection as I buy books of art more than posters but I do own a Derek Hess and a Rick Griffin (my favorite poster artist).

I would leave my girl to own a Mark Ryden painting though :)

7. Hahahaha....
Yes, if I had to choose one of those guys who I would love to have a genuine original of, it would be Ryden.

I had to get my wife to warm up to his stuff since a lot of the things I like by him are on the creepier side. But she's come to appreciate him.

8. Same with me. My fiancée accepted Hess and Kozik really quickly
But it took a little while for her to dig Mark Ryden and Robert Williams. She's pretty cool though. Any place in particular you buy posters from?
