1. I was born at 6AM.
And I'm more of a day person than a night person, so that certainly fits.

4. My son was born just after noon
I will always remember because the nurse kept on promising me a thick juicy hamburger if I got my little mini me out. It wasn't but 5 minutes after I gave birth that she came in with the best looking hamburger I'd seen.

5. My guess is that it would depend upon the season....and the hemisphere.
Edited on Thu Feb-24-05 10:42 AM by XNASA
But let's say that most babies are born in the northern hemisphere.

Then it becomes a matter of the DOB.

If more babies are born between April and September, than between October and March, then I'd say more are born during the day.

If not, then the opposite.

I'd venture to guess that more babies are born at night.

9. The time of day a baby is born is random.
Therefore, at the equator, there's probably an equal number of babies born during the day as during the night.

But, in the northern hemisphere, the length of day and night changes with the seasons.

You could assume that if most babies are born in December and the least amount are born in June, and the averages taper accordingly, then.......most babies are born at night.

Sounds logical. No?

10. gotcha. I do see that.
But then the question above only had times (not light or dark), that's where I got lost.

11. Yeah. The question asks day or night......
but lists times in the poll.

For example, if you were born at 6:30PM in June, it would be day.

But if you were born at 6:30PM in December, it would be night.
