many many Christians do not take the Bible as the literal truth (myself included). If you phrase the question has "how can you moronic Christians take the Bible as the literal truth" you'll piss people off. but if you are really wondering if there are liberals who do believe in creationism (i dont) and want to know how they can reconcile their beliefs with empirical science, then go for it!
