Woo Hooo! My son got a job!
Hot damn. My son just called to tell us he was offered a position of Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan. He accepted. He's pretty excited and a bit dazed right now.

He'll start after Labor Day. He'll graduate from law school in May and take the Bar in July.

I give a sigh of relief to know that he won't be another unemployed lawyer. This is really very cool.

1. Congrats to him AND you.
Sounds like an important job. You must've raised a good kid.

4. I know how you feel. As Martin Luther King said so eloquently,
"Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
:hi: and a :toast:

5. That's the truth!
Damn, it feels good. He was kind of a pain in the butt when he was in high school. All he wanted to do was be a rock star and argue, and argue and argue. He finally gave up on the rock star stuff but he found a way to make a career out of arguing.
