4. Both cities are fairly progressive
It is easier to get lost in St Paul because of the street grid etc. St Paul is smaller and most of the neighborhoods are very charming.

Minneapolis has a lot to do, most of the lakes in the region are in Minneapolis, great park system, great nightlife (St Paul seems to close down earlier), a more vibrant downtown.

I chose Minneapolis.

The differences between Minneapolis and St Paul can be summed up by the following: Minneapolis is the smallest Big Town, and St Paul is the biggest Small Town.

neighborhoods just don't have any neighborhood saloons--othe than Northeast if you want to have a beer you've pretty much gotta go for a drive.

I do love both, and I've lived in Minneapolis for several years, but Saint Paul is a river town--even more tha it is a small town.

I like River Towns. Winona is my favrite place in Minnesota.

On edit: this was a vote for St. Paul!

11. I thought it was a nice town.
Not that I dislike anyplace I've been in the cities but I like the feel of St. Paul better. But Minnetonka just looks to be a nice middle-upper middle class burb.
