What's for supper?
Were having a black bean & chorizo casserole, green salad and Cuban bread. I suspect ice cream for dessert.

:)

2. It should be about 2 hours in the making.
6:30-7:00-ish will be fine.

3. Kitchen drudge says to make that 2, 2 1/2 hours.
I have to quick boil and mash the beans, too.

A bottle of wine would be cool, though nothing expensive--- just a good table wine.

:)

8. Fresh
Grilled flounder stuffed with crabmeat, served with steamed asparagus and some sort of bread (haven't decided yet).

Found a good deal on flounder at my local Kroger.

4. Broccoli and cheese quiche,
a green salad with tomatoes, some wine (none for the kid!), and brownies for dessert. Regular brownies.

9. I just took a slab of bbq babyback ribs out of the oven
My son wanted me to cook them on the grill but it's jsut to cold to stand outside over the grill. I cooked them slow in the oven with lots of sweet and tangy sauce (my own recipie). He's outside playng sledding with his pals and will be amazed at how good they are cooked in the oven. I'm gonna do some sweet potatoes to go with them and probably some white bread.

10. Thursday Night Special...
Hamburgers... really good thick juicy ones with organic beef, freshly chopped onion and lettuce, aged cheddar... and oven fries with olive oil and Pico de Gallo.

Only trouble is that the whole house smells like hamburgers for hours afterward...
