10. There's a problem with self-reportage...
I consider myself "A little messy" but I think my neat-freak boyfriend would say something different.

(Yes, we reverse the stereotypical gender dynamic.)

3. Other
I go back and forth... sometimes ridiculously neat, and sometimes kinda sloppy. Never really messy... but sometimes lean towards OCD neat.

6. I chose "other"
I'm compulsively neat about some things - my CD's are all in strict alphabetical order, I tend to put my books away by the Dewey Decimal System (seriously) and I can lay my hand on any paper you may request from 5 years ago to the present because of my filing system. I have inventories printed up of all the canned goods I keep in my downstairs cabinets and of my wine. However, you can't see my kitchen table because of all the stuff piled on it, I vacuum about once a week, my dresser drawers are chaotic (but my closet is organized - go figure). I am a bundle of contradictions.

9. My two favorite quotes:
"A creative mind is rarely tidy"

and

"A clean house is the sign of a misspent life"

Works for me :)

14. My work space is spotless.
I am constantly scrubbing at it. My car,OTOH,is a different story.
And my house has the look of a four year old living in it (if you can get the pic). I just can't keep up on it sometimes.

15. "clean" more than "neat"
I have stacks of books, papers, etc. all over the place but I hate it things are dirty. Now, it doesn't have to shine, but I wipe down the kitchen counters several times a day, vaccuum frequently, and make sure things are in neat stacks.

My husband is a slob. Terrible, terrible slob, the kind who will open a package and let the plastic wrappings drop at his feet, never to pick them up again until we move. I hate it. He tries to confine it to his work area downstairs, but I still find crumpled paper towels on top of the fridge, soda bottle tops everywhere...
