We have crappy food!

That's where we pay the price. I had to teach myself to make Tandoori Chicken for example (along with anything that has flavor). I was clueless. For years, I had to endure pickled herring at my Swedish grandmother's for Christmas (not to mention, boiled, unflavored everything; made with love perhaps, but not so tasty). If I were Greek or Indian or Lebanese or Italian ;), my skills in the culinary arts would not be so challenged.

I'm probably a little boring too, so I get a little too defensive about it. Sorry about that. :hug:
