8. Excellent point. And, after all,
Max always managed to get things done with a good conclusion at the end.

* is the exact opposite (if not abject opposite) of "gettiong things done right"

2. Remember the movie "Brainstorm"?
It starred Chris Walken.

Well, do you remember the guy who overdosed on the VR sex tape that he had set so as to loop the orgasm part?

That's the guy he reminds me of, the way he was afterwards, ;)

3. First off,
Get Smart was a masterpiece of the dramatic form! Please be nice. Second, I know it's been said before, but * reminds me of the ape sideckick Clint Eastwood had in those "Any Which Way..." movies. So that's kind of Dirty Harry.

7. "The Sound of His Wings"
You're not just whistling Dixie with that comparison.

Btw, I've recently heard there has been a posthumous release of that supposedly unfinished/unwritten novel.

Fwiw, I've often thought of Bush as a manifestation of Ferris F. Freemont. And I'm far from alone in that.

6. Other: a wad of incredibly sticky chewing gum I accidentally
tracked into my car a week ago. I can't get it out of there and it sticks to my heel every time I put my foot on the gas. Soooooo annoyingly nasty!
