Here's a new pastime for you...

Who doesn't enjoy the finer things in life? Like the Velvet Paintings on ebay? Or any of the other wackiest things on ebay. My recent favorite items have been "Jesus and Elvis Together in Heaven," "Saint Elvis" (an image of Elvis done with the exposed Sacred Heart), a Jesus tongue ring, and the Last Supper lunch box. I am serious about these items. You never know what you'll find there if you do the right search. This doesn't mean you have to buy them, now. Anyone have other favorites?

4. They are classic kitch! My friend, used to be a Disney art director

used to collect odd velvet paintings. I especially liked the one he had of Satan with playing cards and booze bottles, etc. He used to "award" them to friends. Thankfully, I never actually received one. And they all beat Thomas KinkAide.
