Please don't look down on me; but this season's surviver is so much fun!!
It is all because of one contestant named Rupert!!

He looks like a Hagrid.
He is most resourceful, strong, and anti- macho!!
His best friend is a geek girl.

The game itself is much more fun to watch because of its pirate theme!!

The last night had another great moment!!
First, some of 'have not lost any competition so far' Drake tribe members started conspiring losing immunity challenge intentionally.

And they did. However, there was a one catch. It turened out the winning tribe can get one of the tribe member from the other for one round. Since Drake intentionally lost the challenge by holding strongest members, the other poor trobe shouted in unison "Rupert!!".

They even showed the scene from the next episode that Morgans were thanking Rupert for catching fish for them.

Any other Rupert fan?

P.S. Thursday is our household TV night.
Surviver and CSI. After Scifi channel went down toilet, Thursday is the only night, we watch TV regularly.

P.P.S.
Yes, she voted for Patriot act. But, but, but, Hilary is just so magnificent. ( I am talking about Daily show on Wednesday.) I do like Dean and Clark. But regardless of what right winger says, Hilary may be the most carismatic candidate we have. After anothe actor winning,
I am really concerned about carisma factor for the election.

1. This is the first season since the original that I've watched...
And it is compelling. There are many more people who as of now seem to be genuinely nice. There are a few showboaters and schemers but not enough that they are the majority yet.

Rupert is tha man.

I was so worried that John was going to side with the younger, annoying contingent of his tribe and vote off Christa instead. especially with Rupert gone I thought that was going to be a danger.

Last night's CSI was really good as well.

2. I love this year's survivor
Rupert is going to win it unless they all catch on to his act!!

I thought it was sweet that Burton got the boot, especially since he was the one that decided to organize to lose the immunity challenge in order to get Krista (the tweaker) off of the team. Instead they all revolt and boot Burton and in the end they showed the votes - and even one of his alliances voted against him!!!!!

Plus Rupert is probably sucking up to the other tribe in order to gain their alliances in the long run.

And how about Jon showing up shitfaced to immunity challenge. At one point I thought they'd all just vote his drunken ass off the island (the team bought cheap panamanian wine before they headed to the island).

This is the best episode yet!!!

5. Me too
Survivor is my secret vice. I hate to admit it. :)

Hagrid, I mean Rupert, is the best! I hope he wins it all.

6. what I want to know is this
If he compete's with the other team in the next challenge and they lose. Does he go to the tribal council with them and be voted off, or instead go back to his team?

10. He is just going to compete...
..in the reward challenge part of next weeks episode with the other tribe (and he gets to share in it if Morgan wins). After that Rupert goes back to the Drake tribe to compete in the immunity competition.

12. Well, I still managed to get a ph.d in pure mathematics.
Though, because of academic job depression in early 90's, I am a mother working as a part-time management consultant.

Rupert is one of the most interesting charactor on TV for sometime.

And so is CSI's Grisom.

11. Actually I don't care.
For me, the surviver is much better entertainment than any 'manly' spectator sports.

14. My Kids And I Are Big Survivor Fans, But Have Been Disappointed The Last
Couple seasons. But we we are loving this season so far! The pirate theme was a fabulous idea and Rupert is definitely our favorite. He has a great chance to form an alliance in the other tribe.
