Who watched ER last night?
I thought the scenes from Iraq were pretty intense- and then I realized it seems that way because the media shows us nothing of the things that reflect the reality of war.

2. I watched, and funny you say that, because I was thinking the same thing.

3. I was also thinking...
"How can we calculate the amount of suffering Bush has caused in the world?"

It's horrendous -- the scenes of war were so horrifying, and yet, the media acts like it's nothing.
Can you IMAGINE what each day is like for someone who went over there and has a leg blown off? Or for a family that lost a son? Or for a wife whose husband has come home a stranger?
Can we ever gauge how much sadness and suffering Bush has caused?

4. I saw it.
Last week when the coming attraction showed that it was going to be about Iraq I thought that the show wasn't going to be too good. I was surprised. It's been a real good season.

5. We watched it
The show has been addressing issues not in the mainstream, I wonder if this will get people thinking?

6. I can't figure out Michael Crichton- ER has a lot of great shows
about issues from a liberal perspective but he's published anti-environmentalist fiction~!

We've all heard how much deadly this war is because they've moved the emergency treatment closer to battle- but does that emergency care get provided for Iraqi civilians? Do people realize what's it like to lose an arm or a leg in an explosion... extraordinary pain... disability. And for what?
