Don't you love getting an unexpected check in the mail?

Northern Sun bought an idea of mine for a bumper sticker a year or so ago. It went like this:

Now they want to put the message on a t-shirt, so they sent a pre-emptive royalty check. Now $150 probably won't buy a new house, but it certainly put an ineradicable grin on my face.

They've got tons of brilliant stuff. Lately, they're branching out farther and farther from just t-shirts and bumper stickers.

10. I want through all my emails, old clipboards and joke idea files

and culled all the one-liners that made me laugh. (The ones I wrote, I mean.) The political ones I sent off to Northern Sun, at their normal email address: [e-mail] (I suspect I'm skipping a step. Apparently, I phoned and the person who answered gave me the owner's email address, 'cause that's to whom I sent the submission, according to my Sent Items file.)
