Oh boy. Well here I am asking for advice.

I have a profile set up on a personals site. It's not eHarmony. But I put on my profile that I am not a member, so if you email me please provide me with your email. There is a woman who has been emailing me for months off and on who wants to meet me. I don't have the money at the moment to sign up and I can't get the cheapest option anyway because of not having a credit card. But she keeps contacting me and I want to get back to her but that is virtually impossible now.

On another interesting note, she's 36. To my 25. She knows how old I am. By her pictures, she's quite cute. She called me cutie in one of her emails too. So, hopefully that means she thinks I'm cute.

Is she in your area? If so, a simple cup of coffee is innocuous and if you two don't hit it off in person, it isn't a full blown dinner date. Take a chance. You never know.

OK...sorry...on edit to say DOH! i reread your original post and if she isnt giving you a usable return email, you either have to cough up the cash for the basic membership or hope she will send you her email address. I am gonna shut up now

4. Perhaps you can modify your ad to make it a bit more pointed...

perhaps let her know that you'd be interested in responding to her specifically, either by name or by some other sign that she would recognize, and emphasize that she should include an off site email...

5. You need to include your email address in CODED form

in your ad. Example: steve2470 AT the place the cowboy yells
Kind of schmaltzy but it works. Then she can email you directly without the site getting mad at you. Then you can email her back. Problem solved.
