Just because I'm evil. I want to buy a bunch of cheap chinese shit and help add to our insane trade deficit, so I can bankrupt future generations before they're even born. I wanna drive a vehicle only slightly smaller than that thing they use to move the space shuttle around and I wanna fuel it with the blood of poor, stupid americans. Because that's what America is all about! You can have yours, just gimme mine!

1. Today, I went to Target.
Just to pick up a few things. But while I was looking at the DVDs, the most insane feeling took hold. I wanted to go get a cart and just LOAD IT UP with all kinds of shit!!!!! TONS OF SHIT!!!!

I try not to be much of a consumer, so that was a bit alarming. It passed.

My way of saying, I know the feeling. Breathe. It will pass. ;-)

2. Make sure you buy some hollow-pont ammo while you're at it!
No spree is complete without shooting!

3. Yep. Today I just moved one of our phone services to SWB ( a real red ...
company) because I was getting tired of being raped by MCI.

I still avoid HD and go to Loews. I don't do Sam's or WalMart. Or Target.

IF I CAN HELP IT. But sometimes you gotta just go with lower prices, or where the stuff is that you have to buy.

We are on a wind-powered system for electricity, that costs a few more bucks than the coal fired or nukes, but not that much more, really.

So, if once in awhile, you have a Big Mac or buy some screws at HD, not a big deal, as long as in the long run when you have a choice, go with the responsible people.

4. If it makes you feel better...
Target was listed as one of the most philanthropic companies of 2002 & 2003. Haven't seen 2004 so I don't know.

5. Target is a Dem contributor.
That treats its employees far better than the Marts. Not that its Costco, but it is a step up.
