5. a few years ago

my partner and I were heading to visit my family in Massachusetts..

we were on 91 North just coming into Springfield and there was construction going on -- the road sort of split between regular traffic and a another part for construction vehicles which was blocked off and basically a dead end -- as it was a weekend there was no active construction going on...

traffic suddenly slowed to a crawl -- what the hell was going on????

there were all these cars in the construction zone -- as we got closer we saw that it was a fender bender pile-up, a real mess as people tried to back up and enter the main stream of traffic

when we reached the first car that started the pile up -- we burst into laughter -- it was 6 Nuns in a station wagon... just sitting there looking like they were praying that this would just all go away....

no one was hurt, just some dented fenders
