Only problem: She's a conservative.

3. one of the WSJ types?
the kind that believes corporations always have our best interests at heart?? I could probably live with that, if the other qualities (especially the $$$) outweigh her political views...

4. I hope she has lots of sisters!
Although...I don't have that much debt (unless you count my mortgage). Come to think of it, I really don't need a rich woman, although it would be nice. Just an employed woman, who's liberal and attractive to my eye would be nice.

5. Time to buy some pheremones...
Was just reading about the Athena Institute and their study. Don't know what I think though...apparently this stuff makes you smell better to the opposite sex (not in the spam email way, LOL).

Other than that...hang out where rich folks hang out. Where's that? I don't know, and I don't think I could get in anyway.

Sigh.

9. that stuff they are selling is a bunch of snakeoil
tried it back when i was in high school...i know that certain scents can set off other senses, but i remember reading somewhere that if men REALLY wanted to attract women by scent, we would chocolate-scented aftershave.

And yeah, I'm not a member of 'high society' so i can't just waltz into the country clubs or CEO meetings and start asking for some phone numbers

10. Are you low maintenance, other than the debt?
What do you have to offer, that you can mention in this thread with or without it getting locked?

:hi:

18. My Ex-wife.
She's 35, looks like Winona Rider, has a Masters in Literature and inherited a half-million dollars in 2001.

Plus she has her laquered talons in my swag, too...stay tuned for a judicial decision on her potentially increasing wealth.

Oh, but she's a total f***ing b**ch. Can you get by with that?

23. 30k debt sounds pretty stiff to me
if you can't pay it in 2-3 years I think you should consider bankruptcy and reading a lot of financial books and never getting in debt again.

30k sounds like compounding interest that is nearly impossible to pay off.

24. 'never getting in debt again'
i've been working out of it for a few years now (the debts were originally $47k---student loans, credit cards, etc)...It hasn't been easy with a crap post-9/11 job market, and i'm currently looking for a job again, but i do not want to declare bankruptcy...
