44. Breaking the Waves is one of my all-time favorite films.
It introduced me to Emily Watson, who is now my favorite actor.

Have you seen Hillary and Jackie? Do it now!

50. No, I haven't!
Breaking the Waves is one of the most heart-wrenchingly awful films to watch. My partner was really freaking out by the end of it, and was sad for days. I don't think there's a chance in hell she'll ever watch it again.

Really hit her on a personal note - she was terrified and sad to think of that happening to me. It also affected me on a deeply emotional level, too, but not quite as bad.

I think it's a movie that everyone should see. It's brilliant.

I have not seen Hillary and Jackie, but I'm going to amazon now!

7. "Sexy Beast."
The love between "Gel" and "Dee Dee" was so powerful. No "I love you's" no passionate embraces yet that time he phoned her and ask her "just say my name" I felt a chill down my spine. She would kill to protect him and he, well, we know what he did for her. I could watch it 100 times and still want to see it again.

Saw it in Paris when it came out. I was a student.

One of the few movies I love that doesn't have a lot of kick boxing.

13. Terminator
Although the love scene was abbreviated, very romantic.
Woman of the Year
Jeffrey-Michael T. Weiss should have gotten a nomination.
The Goodbye Girl
The Kid
The love story between two kids on an old mini series on either showtime or hbo called Grand Avenue. The girl was named Justine. I don't recall the boy's name, but it was heartbreaking. I always thought that John Sayles got some ideas for Lone Star from this story.

Understated, but that's the magic for me. Both actors could speak eloquently just by their demeanour and facial expressions.

I also saw a film on the box about a governess and a young man whose wife was insane (medically). It might have been "Jane Ayre". I thought that was pretty good.

46. That film reminded me of a past relationship
My ex-b/f was a drunk and I did all I coudl to help him but he was a lost cause. He's still living but I haven't heard from him in awhile.

I just that it was so romantic that these two people who just met could have the relationship that they had, fucked up and all, but it was a realtionship and I believe a loving one.
