One day my coworker and I decided to communicate only through meows.
As in "meow meow meow meow" all day long, using inflection and pointing to get our message across.

It lasted less than five minutes. Apparently we don't know Catese.

But the good news is, we really annoyed our repukey coworkers. They were ready to throw themselves off a bridge.

Anyone else ever tried that? Did it work?

6. It's great for that purpose.
We even spoke to them using meows. They tried to ignore us at first, but it got to be impossible. When they'd ask us questions, we'd only answer with meows.

It was the longest five minutes of their lives. One of them muttered about a hostile workplace and I went back to English and said "Hey meows aren't hostile!"

7. I know, it seems like such a cool idea
I would probably bark instead of meow b/c I like dogs better than cats. But it sounds fun!:hi:

Seems like barking would be even more annoying.
So I say go for it. Ruff! RUFF ruff ruff ruff! Woooooof!!! ARF!!

Plus there are different ways of saying it, unlike meow.

We did purr a bit. But we never got pissed enough to hiss.

4. When I can't think of a word
or song lyrics, I often say "meow." Example: "total eclipse of the meow... meow meow meow.... every now and then I fall apart... meow meow... every now and then i fall apart."

16. If you and I worked at the same place,
no work would get done, EVER. We'd have great long discussions about which Muppet we would have sex with and how much we hate bush.

Then we'd both be fired. So I guess it's a good thing. :-)

17. I don't have anyone I can play with like that at work.
That might be a good thing, but it sure makes for boring days at the office. :-)

15. I am surprised you did not end up with a bag of MeowMix on your
desk the next morning. I mean...you DID ask for it by name. ;)

Once, my girlfriend and I talked in English accents for an entire shopping trip to Big Lots. We do that kind of goofy stuff often. PassingFair is a blast! :hi:

20. Once my best friend and I wanted to go look at model homes.
Just for fun. You know, the REALLY expensive ginormous ones we could never afford in a million years.

Well, we are VERY close friends. We brought my daughter. More than once, we got so excited over something in the kitchen, we'd grab each other's hand or something. One agent showing us the house looked at us kind of weird and said "Would you be purchasing the home...together?"

I looked at my friend, smiled shyly and said "Well, yes, this will be our first home together." Then I put my arm around her and she giggled.

So she thought we were partners and we let her. Encouraged her, even. My daughter couldn't look at us, because she was about to bust a gut. I started calling my friend "hon" a lot. "Oh hon, come here and look at the whirlpool tub!!!"
