Toothbrush talking.
Ever notice how much of a rather complete conversation you can have with a toothbrush in your mouth?

It seems cadence is everything... everything from acknowledgements to "I don't know" to even asking where something is... we seem tuned to grunts, as long as the sing-songy-ness is correct. :)

Or is it just me and my wakeboard instructor?

1. Just don't let too much of that...
...foamy saliva accumulate. Get that toothpaste taste too far back in your mouth and the purge reflex is unstoppable.

2. Because of the pitch of my voice, grunts seem to be all that people hear.
It seems to work well enough for the ones that know me.

3. Used to have a roommate who thought he was perfectly understandable
and would try to carry on a conversation while he brushed seemingly forever. I had to go to the "Huh? What? I have no idea what you just said..." routine. I don't mind a couple words or a "WEUNATHEC" meaning "Hang on for a little bit while I retire to my bathroom to continue with my personal hygiene in a more private setting, but I really do need to relate some information to you after I get all this foam and this hunk of plastic out of my mouth."
