First the news that they are going from unlimited downloads and cd burning for $15 a month, to 65 downloads a month for the same price. I knew it was bound to be restricted since too many people took advantage of "unlimited". But 65 for a service that has only independent labels? They've gotta be kidding.
And now trying to clean out my stash list and download before I cancel my subscription there must be a heavy traffic rush doing the same because everything is downloading so slow.

I had personally gotten 6 people to sign up to their service and ths is in real life only (i advocated the service to you as well as to many other on other forums). Now I feel like a jackass because they are completely betraying their customer base. I am gonna download everything i can find over the next couple of weeks and then cancel my account. It's a real shame.

That's way too fast of a switch. I have no problem with changing the terms and making it slightly more restrictive. The fact is that the service was so good as to almost be too good to be true.
But 65 downloads a month? I'd be better off trolling used bins or going on half.com and buying 2-3 really cheap used cd's a month. At least then for the slightly extra I'll be spending I'll get packaging along with it.
I can't imagine anyone staying with the service.
