4. Thanks! I needed that .
I just got my new schedule for the next 2 months- they have cut me down to 32 hours per week as a way to save money (I know that is why). Since I need 40 hours to qualify for medical insurance, my daughter and I will no longer have insurance shortly. Not to mention, of course, the money that I will no longer have.
Now, thanks to the bastards, I too can go down to the welfare office and beg for them to put my daughter on Medicaid!

7. 8 more hours!
Local police department (within a 30 mile radius-don't want to identify which one in case boss ever finds this site!).
I can go to the Supercenter or to Country Kitchen after work but that's about it.

It's called Pinot More.

Dad just told me that one!

5. "It's like deja vu all over again !"
I stole that from Yogi Berra.

Didn't we go through this a few nights ago? What kind of work do you do?
Anyway, here's a pic of my best friend, Jack. I hope it brings you some cheer !

10. That really sucks !
Welcome to george bush's murika. These neo-con thugs won't be happy until we are all homeless and destitute. Well, I could go on like that for hours, but that probably won't help your mood. So, I'll stop now.

Here's a quote from Ghandi that may give you some hope:

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS"

as soon as we realize our political power and get rid of the Godless corporate neocons now in the WH.

12. Thanks for the words.
I am not the type to go grovel for help. I am raising my child alone and enjoy it this way. Now I have to go beg for her insurance so that she can still go to preschool (they won't let her attend without it). Heaven help us if I ever need a doctor! I guess, for all they care, I can rot of whatever while waiting at the nearby free clinic.

I now all alone and have been wanting to get a dog as soon as I get back on my feet. He looks cool. I've had Labs but I want a house dog.

22. He is a Jack Russel Terrier !
Hence the name, Jack ! One rarely meets a JRT named Russel, for some reason.

WARNING ! JRTs are not for the timid or the weak of heart ! They are a rambunctious breed.

Having said that, I can also attest to their fierce loyalty and intelligence. He plays with reckless abandon !
Many people get a JRT expecting the quite well behaved dog seen on the TV show "Frasier" That dog is an actor !
Mostly, they require lots of attention and daily exercise. It is also important to have obedience training, as they have a strong will and intense personalities.
Due to these misconceptions, many JRT owners end up getting rid of the dog within a year or two. This is how we got Jack !

Here is the JRT rescue site:

http://www.russellrescue.com/contacts.php4

They are also known as parson russel terriers, here is their rescue site:

http://www.netpets.org/dogs/dogresc/breeds/dogjck_ter.html

You can learn more here:

http://www.terrier.com/

I hope you get one ! Jack is the coolest dog I have ever met, my wife and I absolutely love him !
Good Luck !

13. One more thought
I have a very outspoken husband. Whether it be in the checker line af the grocery store or anywhere else, he never fails to bring up the failures of Bush and the GOP, and their downright lies of WMD's, etc.

I'm so darn proud of him. We live in a deep red state.

And you can access the internet.

Sounds like a sweet deal in my book. ;)
