Science question on ion transport again....please help?
Let me ask you this:

Suppose you have a situation where there is an increased amount of water ALWAYS being generated INSIDE of the cell (such as in the case that I outlined previously with H2O2/glutathione and H2O)? Would you have chloride NOT being transported because of the overhydration of the cell? AND, then, an overabsorption of Na2+ (the law of electrical neutrality)?

2. Long, long story.......My son died of cystic fibrosis......
And I have been researching the disease for ten years now. I have this one question that needs to be answered. It's always the simple ones that elude me......

I really need some help here.

3. I wish I knew something on point - but I do not. good luck in your
research - and I am sorry to hear about the disease that that took your son.

Perhaps if you posted in the science section you might get a better response.

I'm sorry about your son.

I'll see if I can help, but I'll have to get back to you on this.

My cell biology is a little rusty. I'll bust out my biochem books and see what I can find.

I'll reply here, but I'll also PM you with my answer in case you don't see it.
