My weekend was lovely. :D

Went to the zoo, and then the super huge mall and ate at P.F. Chang's, which has the best Chinese food...EVER! :9

Then I got the pick out CDs, that my brother and his gf bought me and my mom bought me shoes, and earrings, and a CD, cute socks to go with my shoes and a necklace. It was a VERY good birthday! :7

I always have a BLAST at those things. Did you go to the CDA convention in Boston last July? That was AWESOME, I'm looking forward to Washington this summer.

21. The Dickinson College Conference

There were people from Gettysburg, Franklin and Marshall, Brown, Columbia, Washington and Mary, Washington and Lee, U of Rhode Island, U of New Hampshire, Ohio, Illinois State, and Penn State.

and yeah, i had a blast, i met a bunch of wonderful people and even told a few of them about DU. :-)

We're having our Illinois Federation convention there in April, that's gonna be fun.

Yeah, you can make really invaluable contacts at those kinda events, it's always great to "talk shop" with people you almost invariably agree about. And hopefully some of them will join us at DU, too! Maybe we can get enough to have a DU College Democrats gathering during the next CDA convention!
