Changing to snow later on. The rain and sleet is screwing with my Direct-TV. No big deal now that
60-Minutes is over. I'm on DU and listening to 75-meters through the p-static on the ham radio (I'll give that up shortly). My wife, Dr. DemoTex, was here in the NC mountains for the weekend (through Monday), but had to split for our upstate SC digs lest she get stuck here tomorrow. Big meetings or something like that. I said, "Conference call!" She said, "Lines might go down." I said, "I'll do a ham radio phone patch!" She said, "NERD!"
I do have good news. Sirius, for those following his doggy cancer, has had a great nine days since his first chemo. There are absolutely no side effects to the chemo (he does pee a lot from the prednisone). He seems to feel great, he is frisky, and he eats well. Since Dr. D. will be in Greenville through Wednesday night, I'll probably take the dogs down for a couple of nights in the condo with her. It will be tough walking him every couple of hours for his prednisone-pee, but it will work once this weather moves out. Also, he has made it through the past several nights without having to go out at 2 AM or so. Besides, he loves to be with the both of us together. It does him good. Us too.
