4. Clapton put out some really good stuff.

He also put out some clunkers. To be fair. But the man can still play after all these years. I saw a benefit concert with him a few years back and he can still play guitar with the best of them. It should be interesting to see what happens with this 4 night stand Cream reunion.

I just watched Concert For George and Eric was just simply amazing playing there... you could feel his love for George.

George Harrison's death was devistating in a time when things had already gotten dark with the advent of BUsh, 9/11 and the War on Terra.

10. I love that album

I think people bash him because sometimes he is called the greatest guitar player or "god" or whatever. Yes, there are a good number of better guitar players that are also more original. There are better blues guitar players than clapton and better blues albums, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying Clapton any less.

11. Clapton is one of the best. Albiet, he is overrated.

I like much of his work and don't care for some of it. Hendrix was a far more interesting guitar player, but Clapton is still really good. "From the Cradle", "Unplugged", "Journyman", a lot of his 70's material, Cream, Derek and the Dominos, Blind Faith. All really good.
