10. Agreed - he deserved the Oscar. I'm just sad that Don Cheedle had to

go up against such a talented field this year. Cheedle's way overdue, and one of the most under-rated actors alive today. His performance as Sammy Davis, Jr. was simply incredible.

He is really a very talented guy. I heard an interview that they chose him for the part because of his resemblance and that they took him to meet Ray Charles to have him approve of their choice and were delighted to find out that he is a classically trained pianist. they also said the entire time when he was doing the movie, that he wore contacts that actually made him blind.
