5. No, he's stated in the past he is a Registered Republican.
He nearly ran for office on the GOP ticket.

7. He's not anymore...
Edited on Sun Feb-27-05 11:48 PM by sonicx
he pledges no allegance to a party now, but he's pretty moderate. He's skeptical of Iraq, supports gun control, and is for gay marriage.

8. He was mayor of some town in California for awhile.
But I think he's an old school Republican; you know, back when they were reasonable and had some integrity.

6. I believe they are against the end of the film.
I don't want to give it away, though.

13. yeah! Cool for everyone involved in this film but very cool that some
wingnutts will implode!!!

Still, how come all the "liberal" type films and TV series are so damn popular yet we can't win a Presidential election cuz of "morals and values" bullshit?

16. Still a boring movie
"Million Dollar Baby?" More like "Million Hours in this Theater!!"

Ha! Gene Shalit has nothing on me.

Anyway, I saw it and was bored terribly. It's well-acted, well-shot and all that, but I think you could put Morgan Freeman, Clint Eastwood, and Hillary Swank in a room together and just film their conversations and have an interesting movie. I really don't get the love for this one.

To be honest, none of the movies this year really did it for me. "Sideways" was probably the best of the lot, though I have not seen "Hotel Rwanda" yet. Am still building up my courage for that one.
