But I found this interesting. Seems the 'freepathon' ain't what it used to be. Week and a 1/2 into the quarter and they've only got 20K. It'll take a month to get their goal at that rate.

You'd think the FReeps would realize how much they're being ripped off if that's a bad fundraising attempt.

It shouldn't cost half that to run the site for an entire year, unless JimRob is on their salary.

2. Well, they've got 100K users.

They pulled in 70K in the same time period last June, according to the post.

But from what I've read from the DU folks, 20K/quarter ain't enough to get the kind of bandwidth DU needs, let alone the freepers.
