Ian McShane as Al Swearengen is the linchpin of the show and would be enough to single-handedly make this a great TV series. Brad Dourif as the Doctor, Jeffrey Jones as the newspaperman, and the guy who playes E.B. (can't remember his name, but he was also the sort of kind-hearted scientist in Blade Runner, as well) do good jobs in more minor roles. Really, the only characters I didn't like were Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane, and they're both long gone from the show.

Can't wait for Sunday!
