7. It was a great group of people!

I wasn't sure what to expect never having been to a DU meetup before. I liked Uly's subtle Democratic Underground bumper sticker stuck to the front of his sweater! That was a helpful clue as to which table was the DUers!

Perhaps we could have an Athens meetup sometime this spring or summer. The Globe, which is downtown Athens coolest bar and home to liberals, intellectuals and artists, would be a perfect location. Bury the Hatchet told us that he's in Athens at least once a month (to play golf at the UGA course). There are several Athens DUers that I know of.

Mr CottonBear caught my cold and is now home in bed. I'm a little better. Have a good week!
